JYU Talks


JYU Talks is about getting students from all faculties to think about how their education plays a role in solving global problems.


The webcasting on March 23 is the Opening Night with special guests Martti Syrjä & Erja Häkkinen who will discuss their experience of solving global problems at the local level with their renewable energy project in Madagascar for Nelonen's Operaatio Maa.


This is a "global" event with special faculty members from UC Berkeley & Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur - both explaining how their universities are making a difference through technology & entrepreneurship.


JYU Talks opening is the start of four following discussion nights at Ilokivi between 18.00-20.00.
